Relevant data on the epidemiology 🧪😷 of human alveolar echinococcosis in Europe. The 1st two decades of Echinococcus multilocularis 🪱🧪 in Hungary🇭🇺 Besides environmental factors, poor regional economic development is confirmed as a driver of HAE.

Our study highlighted the importance of a multidisciplinary approach to investigating the rare human alveolar echinococcosis (HAE). The micro-epidemiological analysis revealed the role of some biological, climatic, and socio-economic factors.

Environmental factors, such as land cover, affect the dynamics of parasites. Angiostrongylus daskalovi, lungworm of badgers, is influenced through its intermediate hosts (snails & slugs). More information at www.mdpi.com/2076-0817/10...

RFK Jr. and Trump tell us they want to Make America Healthy Again.

Great slogan. I agree. Unfortunately, they are doing the exact opposite.

Vaccines work. They are safe. They save lives.

No more conspiracy theories.  Kennedy must resign.
“Robert F. Kennedy Jr., the secretary of health and human services, is endangering the health of the American people now and into the future. He must resign,” Senator Bernie Sanders writes.

What we’re witnessing in this country is textbook authoritarianism.

Trump thrives on targeting those who are least able to defend themselves, exerting control and cruelty to tighten his grip on power.

To think it ends here is naive. We cannot let this go on any further.
