Oh dear, I’m watching the football and it’s half time, so back to analysing my list of 146 Wordles. Lairs is a better choice, as 16 results had A in the 3rd position: 8 had it in 4, 1 had it 5th. Fortunately the football is about to start again, so I’m now back to watching the TV 😂

It was a grey day today, so what to do? Sad as we are, we keep a spreadsheet of our Wordle attempts. So what better than to count the ‘A’s 😂 Since May we’ve played 146 times. Of those (if I’ve counted correctly) 9 had A at the beginning, and 19 had it as the second letter.

I like to look at other peoples Wordle selections to try and work out what they had chosen. It’s like doing Wordle in reverse. But on this one we took four:

I follow you on both (and also LinkedIn!) I’ve just checked your derelict account and think your last post was 04/01/25. But being “the other place” that may not have been you 😊

Congratulations. I didn’t mention on my last reply that our solicitor got the Building Society to pay for a hotel for us over the weekend until the money could be transferred. He knew my husband and said “just don’t stay in Gleneagles”, we didn’t 😂

I bought a new house in Scotland many years ago. The mortgage was with an English Building Society. We waited in the sales office, no money came through. Finally our solicitor phoned them. “But you haven’t Exchanged yet” they said. But in Scotland you don’t Exchange!

We had the same when we came back from our holiday in June. We like stuffing the flowers with a ricotta mix and baking in the oven, it’s the only way to stop the courgettes growing 😊
