You will never see a note from me with an ID statement starting with "this is a very pleasant . . ." and I find it deeply weird and off-putting that some docs include this. It's none of my business if a patient is "pleasant" and stating my judgement on that strikes me as inappropriate.

Withholding necessary care is violent. And it's very clear that health insurers are rampantly violent.
Unsurprisingly we see that violence begets violence.
The takeaway here is that we're *all* safer when everyone gets their basic needs met.
