Birthday double feature!

My birthday week has officially started lol.

Haha a friend sent me this edited photo of me during the AFCC this year. Her daughter added the cat.

We won at the National Book Awards back in the Philippines for our anthology of critical essays on Rene Villanueva, a pillar in Philippine children’s literature. I won’t be able to attend the ceremonies (which happens day after mu birthday), but my mom would receive the award in my behalf ❤️

Sometimes, I would just like to be a cat please and thank you.
