I attended #ShowUsYouCare event in parliament where I met my constituent, Jack Hassan, to discuss his experiences living with a disability and the social care services available to him. We talked about the need for flexible social care that supports everyone.

Yesterday, thanks to over 2000 campaigners who sent invitations, we welcomed MPs to our #ShowUsYouCare event in Parliament. Our attendees heard about the 3.5 million people unable to get the support they need and how we can work together to change this. (1/5)

Latest data shows 53% of the public are ‘very’ or ‘quite’ dissatisfied with social care.

Consistent failure to invest in social care makes this unsurprising. The Casey Commission’s recommendations for reform of social care are sorely needed.
