The latest Global Risks Report, which surveyed 1,300 leaders in government, business, and other organisations, captures a shifting landscape fuelled by increasing competition and the weaponisation of economic tools such as tariffs & supply chains.

In this case, winter weather contributed to the aviation chaos, but KLM’s poor communication & crisis response made it much worse. Stakeholder mapping is an essential crisis leadership skill for navigating uncertainty and must be part of any crisis management & communication training programme.
