So instead of charging for my labour as a carpenter, I can charge a mandatory tip of "X" amount of dollars and not pay any taxes?

I was just about to pint this out as well. If anyone is “unserious”, it’s Petey.

I fostered a queen and her 5 kittens once. I ended up with a queen and 2 kittens for life. Best foster fail ever.

They’re actually always on the “right” side of history.

I’ve met and know a lot of great people, but the loud minority is getting too much attention.

Having lived in Alberta 30 of my 55 years, it’s sad to see this separation crap going on. Albertans, generally, have had this “Oh woe is me” attitude. Even those I’ve worked with in the patch making $150,000 a year.

A good read. Equalization benefits all of Canada.

Hmm, that article is awfully long. If it's more than a 3 word slogan, I'm not interested in learning about it.

2/2 Pollievre was fixated on the past and Trudeau, Singh just interrupted everyone (although to Carney’s benefit), and Blanchet was only about Quebec.

1/2 Carney was calm and collected. He was the only one that offered policy details. General as they were. We at least got a sense of what the Liberals want to accomplish.

How long will the grass be greener for Honda if they do this? We can pretty much guarantee Honda sales in Canada will plummet and probably Europe too.

Saw them in Edmonton, Alberta back in 89-90. I want to say Bonham opened for them; or was it Cinderella. Best days!

Right out of the rights (conservative) playbook. Divide, divide and divide some more.

I suppose it's easier than offering unifying solutions.

Federal and provincial seem to sway that way but municipal in Edmonton and Calgary lean more left-centre or progressive.
March 23, 2025 at 9:44 PM
That’s provincial. BC federal liberals still align with federal liberal policies.

Toronto, Hamilton, Vancouver, Ajax, Montreal, Edmonton, and London

Although I’d argue the whole country can be considered a sanctuary.
