I also skipped over some PS1 games to jump to Eternal Ring & Evergrace, now I gotta go back too, I should finish covering all fromsoft's PS1 games by the end of next year :]

That'll likely be a 2027 project for me though, I have other FromSoft games to cover before EG2 and I also wanna take a little break from this game 🥲

For Evergrace 2, depending on how it goes, I might involve more people or other artists. I don't think I'll do exactly the same stuff and I still have to play the game, but since there's a Light Novel there might be some scenes I can do similarly

I'll pass the message onto the other artists! I really appreciate everyone who worked with me on this, it was very experimental for me as I've never put a voice acted scene in a video before and it turned out great thanks to all of them.

Thank you, I really gave it my all and wanted the Evergrace video to be special since it doesn't get a lot of coverage
I think the editing is a result of evergrace-induced psychosis that will never truly leave me now :,)

My goal for this one was to visually match the intensity of Evergrace's shop theme, but still let the viewer make sense of the chaos

And this is the final result. This is probably the most time I spent on single thumbnail (usually they take me <2-3 hours, but this one took me days). There's a lot of layering/blending involved, but hopefully you can see all of the individual elements and where they came from

I tried a lot of different ways to fill in the empty space near the top/bottom, used text from various Japanese scans covering Evergrace (it's not just random text); painted in the corners & Darius' face to add more contrast and help him stand out more

Eventually I started over, keeping Darius roughly the same.

The Krissalis overlapping with Sharline is still from the original Darius piece, just cropped and brought down to fit the aspect ratio. For Sharline I ended with the Novelization cover art, the Crest is ripped directly from the EG Logo

I tried a lot of things for Sharline, but most of them didn't fit either (AgeTec promo material & in-game story slides)

I didn't use the previous right panel at all, instead overlaying different EG art to create a similar effect

In the first WIP I wanted to try and include Sienna, so my next source was the EG OST Liner Notes. I tried various things but none of them ended up working out

I wanted to use this art of Darius from the beginning, this is my favorite promo art for Evergrace and does well to represent the color scheme of the game

On the right is the same art from a Playstation magazine with higher saturation, and I wanted to recreate this look.
