Our latest cat was adopted from a local shelter (2020), whose standard contract says that you must return to them if you change your mind or become incapable of care…AT ANY TIME…FOR ANY REASON. It was a big reason we chose the location. Pebbles was adorable, too. Think her dad was a puma, though.

It’s about context, you boob. Using “the r-word” about a person, especially a child, is unacceptable. There are other words that more respectfully convey what you say you mean. Open a thesaurus once in a while. While you have the right to say what you wish, I have the right to judge you when you do.
