these promises being made, they actually thought this was being done “for them.” Maybe they will see they screwed themselves out of their own lives, maybe not. As dark and gloomy as this all is, and as outraged as people are, it is more important than ever that we learn compassion and respect. 5/7

What I cannot comprehend is why anyone would think that this is improvement. It appears from my perspective, that many peoples sense of entitlement got the best of their brains. They fell so hard for the illusion of American freedom that they assumed they would be safe. As they heard all of 4/7

and make us prisoners in our own country. We will quickly learn what it has been like for the Native Americans living with racism in their own homeland. Maybe this will be a learning experience to see what racism feels like, what it is like to live day to day as if you are “less than.” 3/7
