Well the top issues at my family Thanksgiving: immigrants like Mexicans & "the orientals" drive up housing prices, vaccines still bad but microplastics are just as bad, a woman having an eating disorder to stay thin for her husband isn't a big deal, and white people on pills stealing from their kin

I've had two MAGA dudes cry to me that they lost their jobs due to tariffs in the last two weeks. Including the co-worker at one of my jobs who went on an anti-trans rant I posted about back in September. That's what voting on culture wars get ya.

This Thanksgiving I'm most thankful for the fact my mom only guilt trips me twice a year to spend the holidays with my family.

Being someone who supports the local music scene by going to 50ish shows a year means sometimes goths half your age, who are in a band, say hi to you in the pasta aisle of a grocery store and your wife is confused.

I grew up poor white trash so I can blend in with MAGA. I have 3 degrees. Which means I have to take on side jobs to pay student loan debt. Working a job this weekend a coworker went right into an anti-trans rant. My response wasn't kind. Another coworker who observed it asked me about the exchange.

Why blame Tylenol for autism? Because there's a record of vaccines. There's not a record of every time you took Tylenol. So they can blame you & you can't prove you didn't take it.
