Hello!
I’m a huge railroad enthusiast, model railroader, and model train collector. I love fixing model trains and machines. I also really like stop motion, filmmaking, and art.

A recent model I’ve finished, a metal PRR L1 kit by Penn Line. I got the kit used, but it had all its parts and even decals so I fixed it up. After cleaning, repainting, and slightly modifying the locomotive is a great model I’m very happy about! It’s a good runner too!

Decide to take a crack at gauge 1 ttte models, and of course I started off with trying a 7 plank. It’s just so cool to have a 1:1 scale model of the tv series model. It’s really something to have it in my hands! The files I used are by JamosTrainos.

Got this nice little lot of Atlas Canadian Pacific diesel locos. They are great runners with incredible chassis and great details. I also just really like the livery.

Here’s my #1 of the CLRR narrow gauge. This loco was the first CLRR loco I’ve built that’s still together. Kitbashed from a bachmann 0-6-0, an 0-4-0 hon3 kit, and other spare ho parts. It’s a rough runner as the gears need replacing but I’m very proud of how this model turned out.

The front was built up with plastic card and a few spare bits since I had no brass parts that could be used for this one. Still looks pretty good

Worked on fixing up this brass project loco. Fixed up its front, added a light, and painted it in black for now. The chassis still needs some work to make everything fit properly but so far it’s going good. Don’t know what livery I will put this one in yet.

Been working on fixing up this brass Berkshire. Cleaned all its parts and repainted it. I have to get some new transfers for it since the old painted ones had to be removed. The chassis is still being worked on but shouldn’t take too much more work. So far so good

Here it is after the paint is finished. Nothing too flashy but it’s still a nice little unique model.

Revisited this model. Fixed up the cab and added some more to the paintwork. Looking really nice now.

I got the kit all together and working and it’s a great little model, it functions nicely too. Now just needs some paint but otherwise it’s done being built.

Got this customized MI&W athearn bluebox diesel model. It’s an interesting loco, with hoses to the axle boxes on one side and other separately fitted details like chains. It’s very well built too, but the light does need replacing. A great runner too.

It’s nice to meet and talk to nice vendors like this at train shows, it makes the whole event great in the end. The loco from the previous owners railroad shares a spot now next to my loco from my fictional railroad on my loco shelf with other models I’m very fond of

They also had a custom tank engine they made to look like one from a picture. It’s a nice little model and also really well done.

I also got to learn a bit about the layout it was from made by its original owner, and the layout was featured in a model railroad magazine. The vendor was also very nice, we both talked about kits we’ve built and he gave me a Derrick crane kit I liked for free.

One of the locos they were selling was from their fictional railroad, and it was custom detailed and painted for it. It’s dcc fitted too. It’s very well made and looks and runs great. I really love custom locomotives like this.

I really enjoyed this show mainly for the nice vendor I met. They were very kind and we talked about custom models and kits we both have worked on for a while. They were selling some kits and custom models they had built so I picked up the two locos. They gave me a free kit too.

Went to a train show recently. It was a small show but I got a few interesting things and met a really nice vendor. I got two custom steam locomotives and a free kit from the nice vendor I met and a caboose to match another steam loco I already have.

Got this new and unopened Arbour Models Sierra 4-6-0 kit. All its parts are present inside the box. It looks to be a fun project, though it seems like it will be a bit fiddly to work on. Still a great model to build!

A recent repair and custom project, a Varney F3 metal kit. Got it used at a show a while ago. It’s a great kit and runs really well. I decided to strip the little bit of paint it still had and keep it in its shiny metal look as I liked it and no paint liked to stick without chipping.

Working on upgrading my loco shelves to be friendlier to my locomotives. So far it’s looking promising. Each shelf has 16 rows for ho scale engines, with each spot being 15in long. I will add a shelf to accommodate really large locos but so far it works good for all I currently have.
