I can't stop turning the Cavansite clusters back and forth to look at them. The super-blue parts are the Cavansite, growing among white Stilbite on Basalt matrix. So pretty!

How do you feel about druzy crystals? 🩷 Little sugary formations like these sparkle a lot when they're handled in the light, but they aren't as eye-catching as large geodes. Still, I can't help getting distracted by the natural glitter.

Right now I'm using a lot of crystal chips in my sensory bowls. Depending on the texture, they're really pleasant to touch and soothing to listen to. It's been a good centering activity given the... everything, in the world.

Rough Red Calcite gets its color from iron oxide inclusion. I had to wash my hands after holding these since they leave rusty smudges, but I still love the color. 💗
