What movies did it inspire? That’s a better measure of cultural impact imo people were inspired by marvel movies and Star Wars nobody who saw Avatar has tried making anything like it. They can’t even quote anything from those movies. Just because it made a lot of money doesn’t mean it’s impactful.

Not saying the actor isn’t but the character of Carol isn’t dolled up to unrealistic beauty standards levels of “Conventional attractiveness” at least from my understanding of such things. Like she’s not “Supermodel” levels in the show like how Alloy from HZD is good looking but “ugly” to Redditors.

They literally are though? They have no free will or autonomy of their own and don’t refuse orders even when they probably should. They don’t have creative drive or ambition for anything besides getting all humans under their control. That drive and potential for ambition separates us from animals.

You still haven’t disputed the fact that fans of shows made by Vince Gilliam seem to hate women for doing less horrible and more reasonable things but seem to love psychopaths like Tuco who kills the nearest person to him just because he snorted meth and had a rush.

I mean yeah they worship Walter white and ignore the fact he had a legal solution to his financial problems handed to him in season 1. His old college buddies literally offered him a great paying job and free cancer treatment and he turned it down then insisted until the finale it was for his family

Unless this was earlier than that era there was also the risk Cosplayers faced of being smacked hard by a wooden “Yaoi” paddle. Admittedly not as bad as the worse things you mentioned but iirc there was at least one case of a hospitalization because someone took a running start with a Yaoi paddle.
