See I actually love seeing ads on meta apps. I like the personalization etc ….. I’ve never hated those things. So that’s why this feeling is so new to me lol this feeling of not liking the core of social media anymore

I am a business coach and yet I’m currently feeling an enormous resistance to social media marketing. It is debilitating at the moment. I’m still sending emails to my email list and making sales there (yay!!) ….. but I just can’t bring myself to do much of anything on IG or FB. It just feels gross.

But I watched The Social Dilemma last weekend and it put me way deep into depression. Seeing how deeply social media has been built to manipulate the minds, and how much psychological manipulation goes into creating effective marketing strategies overall … god.

building my business. I’m not amazing at social media marketing. And yet, Facebook is where I’ve gotten most of my clients.

Anyway …. Even now with the very big and obvious reasons to boycott Meta apps, it didn’t really faze me bc I’m dedicated to making an income to feed my family, ya know?

Yeah I did eventually but honestly like, 6 mo the later probably so it was a bit disjointed lol.

I felt all the same things. I could hardly stand it, I had to stop watching that season for a few months 😢

Correction, I checked the actual time and it was within 26 minutes of sending the email 😌
