Being arrogant is only an issue when you're wrong (about things like Facts - being wrong can cause serious harm) because that arrogance acts as a roadblock to the open-mindedness needed to course correct. If you're just very confident that your opinions on media are well-founded, no harm no foul.

Getting mad that someone sounds "too arrogant" when discussing opinions is a dead giveaway that they're just mad the opinion they personally disagree with wasn't cushioned with a million redundant meek-sounding disclaimers ("only my opinion...") because I Am Feel Bad When We Disagree With Me :(

Did you not even watch the fucking video? At multiple points it's shown how Somerton framed whistleblowers with extremely tiny followings (at least one with less than 150) as sending him death threats, causing his fans to harass them into vanishing, allowing him to rewrite the narrative.

The public spectacle was necessary. Somerton had a history of siccing his fans to harass would-be whistleblowers into silence, with particularly vicious framing. Had someone larger like Hbomb not shone a light on him, I'm willing to bet Somerton would've unwittingly gotten his fans to kill someone.
