I think it’s mostly room servers but you might get lucky still.

I’m not really interested in doing anything new. If so it would probably be in the erlang stack to learn something and not battle old demons born from rotted maintenance.

I would be interested in an updated package.json for an sbot as well and try getting oasis running again.

Amazingly the patchwork builds still load but it gives me the creeps and updating that old electron is just fingernails on a whiteboard type of situation.

I get that while that’s still what the Chat UX makes you do/fall for.. from experience, if you can’t get what your looking for by the 2nd prompt you are better off going with your own lazy fingers.

There were a few times where even when I pointed out the problem it went:

AI: but wait.. no, I need to do A or B?
Me: no, how about C and do this …
AI: oh, right..! B it is then…! *goes off on another tangent*

is too much of an hassle to compress and refine the context most of the time.

I stumbled over this too recently…

I tried some help to get back into an erlang project I hadn’t looked at in two years ago. I was half way through pulling the transport module out of the peer event loop. It managed to find a few bugs which already had tests but i still swerved off the road a few times.

More stupidity and recklessness purely to cover a fragile sense of their own power.

New incredible detail here: ICE says a match in its facial recognition app Mobile Fortify is a "definitive" determination of a person's status, and that this overrides birth certificates. This is an app ICE is using in the field to scan people
