In this case, yes.
I've put an hour or two into it. I really like that it has an episodic like structure with a lot of replayability for both collectibles and using new characters you unlock. Things are overall very janky from gameplay hiccups, voice acting etc. Plot is holding my interest though. 8/10 so far imo.
