We were discussing that talent is a thing that does exist, despite what a lot of artists claim, and that was it. There was nothing negative said, it sounds like you’re looking for something to upset yourself with.

Which is fair. But sometimes people also need to be able to step back and go ‘was this actually said, or am I jumping to conclusions?’ As well. Because if you leave this thread upset, and giving up on something you claim to love, you were looking for something that was never even said.

Tbh if that’s the takeaway, that’s sort of on them because not once did anybody here say ‘you’ll never be good enough, just give up’? It was a convo abt the fact that yeah, sometimes people do have an inherent talent for things that others don’t.

I genuinely do not give a fuck how complicated you think using AI is, at the end of the day it is still AI doing the majority of the heavy lifting. It is still AI doing the creating.

Again, we’re on a different moral stance that art needs to be something cut down in the name of capitalism. You seem to think it’s fine that there are going to be fewer artists, and that art itself is going to become soulless AI garbage because it’s efficient, and im not. I never WILL be ok with it
