It's an app on the phone and smart TVs. Nah it's just like a regular streaming service. When it was a newer website it just had all the bootleg and pirated anime, but it never really gave viruses from what I've heard. I believe Crunchyroll bought the OG Funimation.

The Seven Deadly Sins is on Netflix, I highly recommend it. And Fairy Tail used to be on there but it moved to Crunchyroll. I believe Crunchyroll still has a free option but with ads. Fairy Tail was one of the first anime series I got into besides Black Butler and Naruto.
