I’m also going to point this out, The Game Awards started back in 2014, and almost every single GOTY nomination list has featured at least one multiplayer game. Overwatch, a competitive multiplayer game, even won GOTY back in 2016.

For real though, on what planet are Multiplayer games in “the minority,” because it sure ain’t here, with the sheer amount of 1st & 3rd person competitive shooter gas games that so many studios are polluting the market with!
