im general, I agree - that's what dog whistles are. the thing is, they *aren't* considering anything queer to be profane. there's yuri art in there that doesn't get this kind of response. the other half of why dog whistles get used is because theres people who say them meaning what the words say

for what its worth, after seeing this post i went into the discord to ask about the dog whistles directly. from everything i gathered, they arent like. queerphobic devs. logs have since been purged due to me asking about it in the art post, but i took some screenshots
