For a long time it really felt like the back half of Mystery Theatre would NEVER be collected!

I'm catching up on the comics of July 9th, and Ryan North's new Fantastic Four #1 with Humberto Ramos, Victor Olazaba, Edgar Delgado, & Travis Lanham is peak F4.
It started with an old concept and I thought it'd be a retread. Nope. More super-science and super-heart from North

It only has two cast members I'd call X-Men. What it lacks in X-Genes, Yoon Ha Lee & Minkyu Jung make up in a Claremontian ability to juggle a big cast full of international characters with complex motivations and culture

Matthew Rosenberg cooked up a BRILLIANT "Super-Villain v. Spy" concept full of humor, heart, & violence. Stefano Landini's layouts are brilliant. Jason Wordie's colors dictate the mood. Hassan Otsmane-Elhaou's letters are clever and sell the humor

An absolutely remarkable and heartfelt comic book with outstanding artwork.
Highly recommended to fans of FML (no music, but similar family/supernatural vibe).

That might be the last comic I buy from AWA.
Surprised Mark Russell would headline this

I used to throw demos of things out willy nilly, but the internet is forever and I want to get this right.
Perhaps for issue #2.
(but the lyrics are SO MUCH about #1 😭)

Perhaps the best queer horror story I've ever read. A total sucker punch with a perfect finale.

I swear there is a good comic in there.

They're both masterful and Frank draws an awe-inspiring Fin Fang Foom, but it's a complete style mismatch and Casagrande's art is its own best advertisement.

It really feels like it hit a tipping point after last week's issue #6 of 9 with sustained word of mouth about it across several communities where I hang out (only a fraction of which was my doing 😈 ).
