The saving system now knows what scenes are currently loaded, so when you load a old save, it will reset the game to what it was then.

Additionally, the saving system can now remember much more complex data

Additive Scene loading is done!

Now, segments of the map are pre-loaded so that there is no need for Loading screens.

The game is coming together! I'm so happy!

A basic loading system is finished for my Indie game!

I've had so many failed attempts at making saving systems in the past, I'm so happy that this one works.

Current Update on my personal game's systems.

A lot is inspired by Pokemon, but I do have my own systems planned. It currently has the following features:
- NPC A.I.
- Dangerous Area
- Level and Exp System
- Battle System
- Mana System
- Enemy Race vs Attack Type Damage Modifiers.

I have a few other additional projects I am working on. I've started developing the environmental boss in Gamer Struggles.

Stay too long in the danger zone and get zapped.

Translation System for the game is functional. The problem is finding a Font that supports English, Japanese, Korean and Chinese.

I'm super excited for the chance to work with @furrysnack.bsky.social to make his project a reality!
