I find there's a lot that breaks for no good reason while on a VPN. Tho my VPN provider at least prompts you to raise a support ticket with them, any time you switch off, to see if they can help.

And the tools and laptops we use are so locked down, there’s zero chance to ever lock it down or hide it either. That continually flashing and sparkling AI button can never be got rid of.
