Last night Kathryn and I met the talented Olive Ridley on a protected beach under a starry sky. ORs are an endangered species of sea turtle, and Costa Rican limits the number of people who get to see them lay their eggs each night, and see their hatchlings emerge from the sand. (1/3)

Every day of our visit to Costa Rica we see another animal we'd never seen before. Yesterday it was these tiny Blue Button Jellyfish.
