i can understand feeling beleaguered by all the unproductive bickering about proper language online. which is, i'm guessing, why you tagged a best of/worst of account. i'm not just trying to nitpick a stranger for the sake of social capital; i am a trans guy, and i see this meme float around a lot.

as an fyi, the meme you're referencing is from an snl sketch where norm mcdonald said that about the (true) grisly torture and murder of a trans guy and his friends

ahhh, thanks for these tips! i'll give them a try. my oven is also ancient, and i read that insufficient heat could also lead to incomplete curling/re-flattening. more experiments will need to happen 🐱
