This weekend’s foray into “piece yourself back together” involved getting my sewing machine out for the first time in…many years. I was able to mend some pillow covers that our dog busted the seams on, and attempted to replace some stretched out elastics in a cloth diaper.

Over the past several years, I’ve kinda lost myself in many ways. One of those things I lost along the way was the desire…the -want- to cook. For YEARS. And as I slowly get meds in place, I’m also slowly finding myself again, including the desire to get up and make a full, from-scratch meal.
