rlly the only thing im kind of iffy on (in comparison to cs/hm) is some dialogue & likeability of the main cast. things get repeated a lot and i find most of the characters bland.
but also i get to skip cutscenes instead of just mashing A & zoning out so this is all completely acceptable

im just saying that it will never stop hurting dude. its basically a nightly ritual at this point to read these lyrics and sit there in stunned, morose silence for like 15 minutes

funny enough i also finished the 2d metroid series before trying hk again but its like, 1% of my internal comparisons. i guess ender lilies just has a way bigger presence in my mind (obvious to anyone who has ever spoken to me)

the crane kirby is so unbelievably cute... he does a lil :T

on a real note this game 100% definitely influenced a fuckton of my writing in my own projects, particularly in the idea of "tragic horror". seeing somebody twisted beyond belief, barely even themselves anymore, perhaps all they know is hurting others now.... mmmmm mmm so delicious yum

going through the hallways with the scary-ass burnt elsen wandering around and getting your ears assaulted by broken laundry machine noises whenever you fought one.... nothing can ever be the same
