Yesterday, we got to talk to Hopewell High School students about how we serve the Charlotte region's transportation planning needs during the Youth in Planning field trip organized by the Charlotte Planning Department and Communities In Schools.

Our Technical Coordinating Committee meeting, scheduled for April 3, and our CRTPO Board meeting, scheduled for April 23, have both been canceled. Our next public meetings will take place in May.

Last Thursday, our team led jurisdiction staff and other partners through a focus group to assist CRTPO in the creation of its safety action plan. Thank you to everyone who participated and shared valuable insights to help improve transportation safety in our region 🙏🚌🚘

We enjoyed joining nonprofit organizations, community members, and government agencies at last Tuesday’s Sugar Creek Neighborhood Development Coalition meeting at Roasted Tinto Café inside the new North Tryon Laundromat, exploring collaboration opportunities on road safety projects 🧺☕

On Jan 29, we kicked off the Beyond 77 coalition at the South Iredell Citizens Center! 🎉

This aims to improve mobility along I-77 from the state line to Statesville, NC by expanding transportation choices and reducing congestion.
