Our report with @peoplevsbigtech.bsky.social shows that young people want to be included in decision making on social media regulation. They want design changes to social media rather than blunt age-bans, and they want investment in European alternatives to the social media giants.

As Europe's first youth-led tech justice movement, we're demanding our wellbeing be prioritized over Big Tech's $11 billion in profits from minors alone. The Commission's consultation closed last month; now they'll review stakeholder input before releasing the legislative proposal mid-2026.

For too long, regulation has focused on content rather than design, reacting to harm instead of preventing it. We call on the European Commission to shift toward design accountability and tackle the root causes of digital harms.
