My state's flag design has been on my mind recently. It was designed in 1776, symbolizing triumph over tyranny.
The flag depicts a woman, Virtus (representing virtue), standing over a fallen tyrant, with the Latin motto "Sic semper tyrannis"
("Thus always to tyrants"). 👀 😉
