Almost three hours into a concert in and for Los Angeles and still no Latino representation on stage. Hard to fathom. Lots of Latino firefighters in the audience being celebrated, however.

Kind-hearted friends and neighbors who encourage us to prepare to evacuate even if it’s not necessary don’t really understand what life is like with cats. Dogs love cars and to leave the house. For cats, the trauma is real.

This is how we roll in this sports and movies/TV-obsessed house: Golden Globes and NFL on double televisions throughout the evening. Red carpet and turf is our perfect combo.

Really enjoyed WHERE’S WANDA? on AppleTV+. Clever, quirky and character-driven murder mystery/thriller with tons of charm. I love to see how it leans into its German-ness instead of running away from it. I hope to see more originals from Germany from all the streamers.

Disappointed in GLADIATOR II, the SFX are eye-popping for sure, but the story is thin, I was missing the passion, texture and humanity from the original. Mescal fine, but Pascal was wasted and Denzel was in a different movie altogether. Still, fans are served, and how.
