i respectfully disagree that the defense has been depleted for mcd's entire tenure. 2019-2023 the defense was well stocked, and they largely choked due to bad coaching. turtling in afcc in '20, 13 seconds in '21, bengals no show in '22, collapse, etc.

ironically, if people actually listen to platner's explanations of these things, he has a similar point of view. as he tells it, his personal story is one of "getting offline" and how that improved his life and mental health. posting was a symptom of his own mental illness.
