Had a lunch stop in Paris between changing trains today. 15 min walk from Gare du Nord to cafe on canal st martin I was passed by more people on bikes than cars! A massive difference from my time in Paris as a student 20+ years ago.

In Watford our local Beryl bikes scheme is geofenced. Park outside and get fined, starts at (I think) £10, 3rd offence get banned from the scheme. Dockless cars parked on pavement...nightmare.

In my work from home lunchbreak had an errand in the town centre, nice day so took the scenic route through a park on the way back for an impromptu coffee, not possible by car - bike is best!

Having been built a few years ago the shared path through the New Lubbesthorpe development near Leicester has now had barriers added to it... How very Leicestershire. (You can, of course, just go round them on the grass.)

Only a loop in one direction due to short missing contraflow, did sound like that was a priority but will be part shared use as Herts CC won't remove a couple of parking spaces. On street 30mph section with through traffic not safe though.
