Thank you! I’m starting to feel a lot better at this point. Probably well enough to return to work, but I’m waiting until I finish my antibiotics before I return.

It’s tricky figuring out the subtle changes of this kid’s face as he grows up 3 years, but the changes are there!
Prince Dyric age 9-10, still looks very kid-ish. He’s friendly, happy, and healthy. Prince Dyric age 10-11. He’s growing up and going through stuff. He has slightly fancier clothes, but he’s a bit sicklier and has lost his wings. He’s happy but worn. Prince Dyric age 12. Starting to hit puberty and look like a young teen. He has his wings back and looks healthy. He’s dressed in a really fancy costume of indigo trimmed with gold. He’s fairly confident now, though still curious.

Here are some separated close ups! I love to see Dyric and Lusicar next to each other.
Sad fact, I never did settle who was taller until making this now:
Lusicar was taller in book 1, but Dyric passed him in book 2, and will stay taller into adulthood, or more accurately, Lusicar will stay smaller.
Prince Lusicar and Prince Dyric (in his casual wear from the circus as Avian at this point) from book 1, about age 9. Lusicar is a little taller and a little rounder than his brother. Dyric has grown wings. Prince Lusicar (both showing his true form which is now part cheetah from the waist down, as well as his cursed disguise appearance) and Prince Dyric (dressed in casual Airshian wear, as he’s still in the circus known as Avian. He has lost his wings.) in book two, which is about ages 10-11. Both boys are a bit thinner than they were, their hair a little overgrown, and they are both unwell, Dyric especially so. Prince Dyric and Prince Lusicar, as they appear in book 3, at age 12. Dyric is dressed in fancy circus wear that also looks princely. His wings are back and much bigger and he looks healthy again. Lusicar looks himself, along with the cheetah legs and tail, has his weight back, and looks better spirited. Both are starting to look like young teen princes… with some animal curses attached.

Young child prince. He can’t see well. Young child prince finally got glasses. Still has anxiety. Less young child prince can see and is feeling a bit happier about stuff. Still nervous.
