i read one book like this last year and it irritated me to no end throughout the whole book. i finished it, but won't be reading the sequels.

currently reading another one that does it and i have never been this tempted to straight out dnf a book.

this might be my first one.

take it easy. i mean it. make sure you have enough time to rest well afterwards.

(and also if you're anything like me, do NOT put off taking pain meds, take them as often as the doctor recommends because otherwise it WILL hurt like a bitch 😆)
