Also, I’m old enough to have lived through the AIDS crisis—had to get an AIDS test before I could get a marriage license. I remember the years-long lag between initial infections and understanding the devastated immune systems.

Thank you Senator. I understand this shut down is excruciating, and that your colleagues who gave in might have had good intentions. But the effect has been so demoralizing. And confusing! Just when we started to hope. We want and need impassioned, courageous leadership. Please stand firm.

In Bernd Heinrich’s “Mind of a Raven” a woman in her SoCal backyard hears a raven making noise. She looked up to see a mtn lion staring at her, and so scooted to safety. But she was never sure if the raven was warning her or if it was signaling to the mtn lion “Here! C’mere! Help me with this!” 🤔😜

I so highly recommend Martha’s workshops. Her experience & breadth of interests made the workshops I’ve taken from her illuminating, engaging and fodder for more exploration. She’s a wonderful facilitator: accessible, fair, funny. And we’re going to need guidance from our dreams more than ever. 👍👍👍
