The more vertical walls would definitely help if you put your feet at the low end.

@bryanhansel.com have you used any pyramid tents to compare it to? I use a Mid-1 from HMG and find I get condensation on the foot of my quilt, so I have to use either a rain coat over the quilt or put my feet inside my pack. It would be nice to have a drier option.
