So I just stream, and hope that people will spot the vapours of creativity, wisping around in the margins of a dumb meme, or a half-hearted clip edit.

Until I inevitably end up back here.

Something needs to change.

Its me. I’m something.

I’m an artist who doesn’t make art, a writer who doesn’t write, a game dev who doesn’t make games, a video producer who doesn’t make videos.

I poke and prod, but lack the courage to commit to any of them long enough to make something worthwhile.

But the fact of the matter is that I’m not entertaining, interesting or consistent enough for that to work on its own.

I don’t think I’m *bad*, far from it, but I don’t think I have what it takes to succeed without more substance.

I want to make more stuff. But I’ve become so scared of expressing myself sincerely that I’m constantly making compromises. Deluding myself into thinking that if I could make it as a streamer, that would give me more time to focus on the things I’m really passionate about.

My inner conflict has always been between my desire for people to like my work, and my desire for people to like my personality. And over the years, the latter has overshadowed the former.
