Okay I lied my greatest tip if any of you decide to actually do it: DON'T MAKE OVER DETAILED CHARACTERS. You'll hate all of it. AND DON'T MAKE SUPER CLEAN ARTSTYLES WITH SUPER DETAILED RENDERING. Make a "simpler" style of your standard style. Or you'll hate all of it.
