In these uncertain times, don’t lose your sense of wonder of the world.

For me, travel is an opportunity to broaden my horizons and realize neither my culture nor me are the center of the universe. The opportunity to visit other places fundamentally changed me.

I’m in San Diego for the TRUUsT retreat. There’s a union strike going on at the hotel across the street. Earlier they were singing along to “Achey Breaky Heart” and I think that may be the most joyful protest song I’ve heard.
