Made an aluminum foil ball, here's a before and after. No mirror-y look, but for now at least I prefer this kind of rough look because there's a certain authenticity to it. Watch out for aluminum dust and flakes though, wear gloves and goggles. Also cover the ball in cloth to contain dust etc.
