Got inspired to clean up my big sample of native copper. Wow- pretty happy with the result! Love the little dendrites.

I think I gave my nice specimen to my granddaughter- she has a “ museum” that I contribute to periodically, but this is the piece my dad got in the UP when I was a kid. It may be from mine tailings where he liked to drag us. I like the spiky nature of copper. Weighs a lot! Thought I had one more…

When even Branson- yes, white, deep red Branson with its Trump stores- has a good turnout for No Kings, you know the R's are losing support in this state.

Video of the protest today in MO in R- Ann Wagner’s district- right outside of her local office. About a mile. Maybe as many as 2000 protesters on both sides if the road. The honking horns were deafening at times. Video does not do this justice.

Heads’ up US! The aurora forecast for tonight looks great for viewing way south of normal viewing areas. Keep your eyes open. The maps aren’t always accurate esp if substorms occur. They were observed in AZ last night and the map didn’t look like this.
