I will always defend ‘Shakespeare in Love.’ I own it and have watched it many times over the years. I was today years old when I learned that Tom Stoppard wrote the screenplay.

Looks like this guy’s major area of focus was the behavior of spiders. I wonder when he realized the amount of money he could make as a culture warrior with a phd next to his name.

Just got word that @brazospress.bsky.social discontinued the Brazos Theological Commentaries of the Bible series. It had some issues, possibly stemming from R.R. Reno’s editorial direction, but it was definitely a unique perspective on the biblical commentary genre.

This, from a guest opinion essay, is illogical. It becomes super easy to laugh off a party’s platform as “special interest.” I mean, how is pursuing climate friendly policies not forward looking?

What I find so interesting here, is that much of conservative evangelicalism see God and Trump intertwined, but here you have a priest—a woman—directly challenging Trump from the pulpit. Many have capitulated to Trump, but one has spoken out in dramatic fashion.
