The TreasuryDirect website, where you can buy bonds directly from the government, is down all weekend for an astonishing *41-hour* system maintenance window. I've never seen a website down that long for maintenance.

I recently got a micro-solar setup with a backup power supply for emergencies. It came with a 45-watt flexible solar panel I can hang on our door when it’s sunny out. Works great so far.

I been going hard on this lately. The French course on Duolingo is quite extensive and if you want to finish it in less than like five years you gotta hustle.

My favorite time to hike in the Oakland hills is right after the rain stops. It’s like hiking through a cloud, with the added bonus of there being almost no one else out on the trail.
