K, based on these subsequent posts, I think it's a bug, caused by:
1) the bot's database updated the A's to their new official name, sans Oakland
2) the database also includes indy league teams, b/c sometimes MLB players come & go from there
3) b/c this is the 2nd half of a rule 5 transaction...
