15 yrs ago, on 11th Oct 2010, I was just coming round from a laparotomy, ileo-caecal excision of locally perforated Crohn’s mass/stricture and excision of an entero-enteric fistula. The surgeon's first word was "sorry", at which point I knew I had a stoma.

No we didn’t interview Tony Stark, it was actually @tobyrichardsiron.bsky.social who answered our Q&A about anaemia & iron deficiency. As he says “it’s easy to identify and treat and of all the treatments in medicine it works!”
