PhD Candidate at Queen's University Belfast - Research focuses on Ceremony and the Imperial Family in Late Antiquity - Views are my own and such.
I have been very busy since September (jumping between jobs, teaching two modules, and finishing thesis revisions), hence my lack of activity here.

So this was a nice break just before the end of the semester (with marking and revisions deadline impending).

Oh, and I had fun finding replicas of Constantine's disembodied feet.

Star Wars Battlefront Renegade Squadron (2007) on the PSP?
The campaign takes place over the course of the original trilogy, ending with Endor. You essentially play as rebel special forces if I remember right.

I'm currently working on an article about Valentinian's daughters (which I will hopefully submit sometime during the summer), so I'd definitely be interested to hear more about Justina/Galla/Theodosius as falling into a 'bride show' topos!

Interesting! I was vaguely aware of the 'bride shows' of Theodosius II and Arcadius, but I had not realised it had a longer history. I'll definitely have to read that article and catch your paper if I can.

I've always been fascinated by the Severa-Valentinian-Justina relationship(?). I've still never figured out if it's a covered up divorce/separation (the evidence is thin), or some sort of polyamorous situation. Socrates' version is definitely the most intriguing...

I've got a dozen of this guy's emails in my junk box. I believe he mass emails people on the Liverpool list, as I only started getting them when I subscribed.
