Damned dog got a cold, wet eye booger on my lower lip. But what can one do? Cause a scene and get said dog riled up (at 2am) or accept one’s fate as an animal advocate and wipe it off while petting that damned dog? Well, here we are:

My Kaya (07.04.08-12.06.21) also saved my life, though in my case she stopped me from killing myself. It was the darkest time in my life thus far. A friend rescued two pups and gave me Kaya while he kept her brother, Zappa. She went on to be the coolest, calmest, most loving dog anyone had ever met.
